Africa International University (AIU) has stepped onto the stage of global academia as a fully accredited Christian university to take her place among universities worldwide. For over 27 years AIU existed as Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST), a masters and then PhD level school, training Christian influencers and leaders for the continent of Africa -- and beyond.
We are now embarking on the difficult task of transforming what was essentially a graduate seminary into a fully fledged university. To finance the first phase of development the university is launching a five year, 800 Million Kenya Shillings fundraising campaign.
Over the next 5 years there will be a variety of events and functions to help us raise money to meet our goal. Check the “Campaign News“ section of our website regularly for a list of upcoming events.
The following allocations have been approved for campaign funds raised:
AIU Fund
- Scholarships and Faculty Support
- Charter required campus developments
Tumaini (Hope) Fund
- Physical Facilities Development ( Leah Ngini Centre, Sports Facilities development)
- Endowment Fund Program Development: SPS, ISAR, Science & Technology
- Library, IT & Research Enhancements
